In January 2023, the EveryDose team took on Scottsdale, AZ to escape the winter weather and reconnect. The Winter Summit kicked off with a team hike at McDowell Sonoran Preserve where we had a chance to stretch our legs and catch up on life, work, movie recommendations, and much more. The 5-mile trek on Gateway Saddle got our bodies moving, minds thinking, and creativity flowing.
That’s not where our team building activities ended, though. In the spirit of being in “The West’s most Western town”, we went on a Wild West themed, escape room style adventure. Teams worked to solve puzzles and riddles that disclosed the name of the next destination involved in the quest to find the hidden loot- all while driving around Old Town Scottsdale on a golf cart. This high energy sight-seeing and treasure-seeking activity was a unique experience that we won’t forget!
We transitioned indoors to accomplish an integral part of our Summit happening, our breakout sessions. Team members share updates on projects, present opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, and discuss future developments during this time. These inter-departmental alignments were followed by brainstorming workshops which spurred innovation and created momentum. We have a long list of action items to work on and cannot wait to get started.
